The Human Frontier Science Program offers fellowships for basic research training in the life sciences across national and scientific boundaries.
Date: three years
Deadline: 27 August 2009 Open to: nationals from any country Applications are invited for two international programs that support postdoctoral investigators who explore new research areas. Frontiers of science are often found at the interface of biological and physical sciences and participation of scientists from outside the life sciences is welcomed. Fellows are expected to be exposed to new literature and methods during the tenure of their award while their previous expertise should be reflected in the research project. Applications from female candidates are particularly encouraged.
