Certificate course in "Community Driven Development" for National and International Participants during 2010-11 at Bala Vikasa People Development Training Center, Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Bala Vikasa is an Indian non-profit, secular, non-government voluntary organization, extensively involved in Community Development from past 3 decades in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Bala Vikasa is the Indian counterpart of Canadian INGO-SOPAR.

Bala Vikasa established "Bala Vikasa People Development Training Center" to share its field experiences and promote professionalism among change agents. In this process, we are happy to announce 3 one month special training programs in "Community Driven Development" (CDD) during the year 2010 - 11. The details of the course contents, objectives, duration etc are specified in the attached brochure. The course content consists of both theoretical and practical aspects of Community Driven Development.  

This program is designed for the benefit of participants from different countries around the globe. Therefore, senior managers from active community development organizations (NGOs)as well as funding agencies, students pursuing developmental studies at university level, government employees engaged in community development programs, Cooperative promoters etc. can attend the courses and get an in depth understanding of various community driven development approaches.


OTHER DETAILS:

Number of seats: The maximum intake for the training program is 25 from Asian, African and European countries. The admissions and eligible scholarships will be provided on the first come first served basis.  

Course Fee: Rs.40,000 ( 800 USD)  (includes registration Fee). Partial scholarships are available on request to the deserving participants

Accommodation and Food: To encourage the participation of National & International NGO?s, Bala Vikasa is providing boarding and lodging at free of cost to all the participants.

Travel:  Travel to and from the training centre to be borne by participants.

Venue: The training will be held at Bala Vikasa People Development Training Centre in the city of Warangal in Andhra Pradesh, India.

The Warangal city is 160 Kms by road from Rajiv Gandhi International airport, Hyderabad  capital city of Andhra Pradesh.
